Black Friday is NOT a Holiday

Black Friday is stupid. (In my humble opinion.) It's a massive money grab by businesses and the truth is it grosses me out. And, actually it grosses all of us out on some level I think. We see images of people nearly breaking down doors and fighting with each other and taking toys out of other people's carts. Are you fucking kidding me?! What the hell is wrong with us?! Just the day before this disgusting madness, we were being grateful that we could fill our tables and grateful that we were warm and safe in our homes. Why do we so easily forget the importance being thankful?

This year I heard a lot about "Small Business Saturday" which happens the Saturday after Black Friday. It's all about supporting local businesses while shopping for the holidays which I think is an awesome idea.
